Mario Palmano, a member of the Sociedad Friulana of Buenos Aires, from Enemonzo, has brought the Friuli flag on Mount Aconcagua in Argentina. The Sociedad Friulana of Buenos Aires, The "None", as the Friulian Society of Buenos Aires has been affectionately nicknamed by the Friulian emigrants living in Argentina, was established thanks to Leandro Baseggio who was also its first president. The association has prestigious headquarters in the Villa Devoto district. It boasts about 500 members of all ages and also runs the "Ediciones Friulana de Buenos Aires" publishing house. It was established on November 6, 1927, second only to the Venice association, which was founded on April 19, 1914.
